Students in Mrs. Dowdy’s 8th grade Language Arts classes at South Marshall Middle School recently practiced their speaking and listening skills during their first Socratic Seminar. After researching the Colin Kaepernick controversy, students shared their learning with each other. Students pictured in the inner circle led
the discussion while students in the outer circle observed their peers and documented their participation.
