LAND BETWEEN THE LAKES, KY/TN – July 19, 2016 –Applicants for the 2016 Quota Deer Hunt at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area must apply by July 31.
To submit applications, hunters may apply online, at www.landbetweenthelakes.us, and click on the quota hunt application link found on the home or hunting pages. Hunters can also call 270-924-2065, 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday. The application fee is $5 online or $7 by phone.
Quota hunts provide unique recreational opportunities within the region and help maintain a healthy deer population. All quota hunt permits will be for one (1) deer, either-sex. There is a one (1) antlered buck limit on Land Between the Lakes per hunter, per season, whether taken during the quota hunt or archery seasons, in Kentucky or Tennessee.
The habitat maps, Motor Vehicle Use Map, and Recreation Map show the hunt areas and are available at http://www.landbetweenthelakes.us/visit/maps/.
On or after August 22, applicants can visit www.landbetweenthelakes.us and go to the quota hunt application link to see if they were drawn.
