Our inspection crew has made excellent progress. A detailed inspection of the US 68/KY 80 Lake Barkley Bridge at CANTON in TRIGG County should be completed TODAY. This will be the last day for the lane and 8 ft. load width restriction on the Canton Bridge. This work zone should be down by about 3:00 p.m., CDT, today. Additional inspectors were available to assist on this project, helping to speed completion of the inspection process on the Canton Bridge. Per our follow-up advisory from Monday, this inspection team will now be moving to the US 60 Cumberland River Bridge at Smithland starting Wednesday. We will be providing an updated advisory for the work zone there which is now expected to start on WEDNESDAY instead of later in the week.
