On Tuesday, March 22nd, the Benton Middle and South Middle combined band participated in the 2016 KMEA Performance Assessment in Paducah, KY. The band students performed at Paducah Tilghman High School and were adjudicated by three judges for their on-stage performance of their prepared music.
The band scored a proficient rating which is an excellent rating! They also were adjudicated for their sight-reading abilities and received a score of distinguished which is a superior rating! We are extremely proud of our band students for all of their hard work, dedication, and an excellent performance.
