Even with Paul’s departure, Caucus will continue in Kentucky

With this past week’s news that U.S. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has suspended his campaign, many are wondering if the March 5 Republican Caucus will continue as normal.

The caucus was set up so Paul could be on the ballot for both President and Senate, but organizers say they are going ahead with the caucus.

Brad Clapp says the caucus was approved overwhelmingly by the Republican committee.

There are 11 candidates on the Republican side that have filed to be on the ballot.
