Minor earthquake felt throughout our region

The four-state region was rocked by a minor earthquake on Tuesday morning.

A 2.5 magnitude earthquake had an epicenter six miles south of New Madrid at 5:41 am.

The United States Geological Survey says the quake measured four miles in depth.

Dozens of quakes have shaken the ground over the past three weeks along the New Madrid Fault Line, all measuring 3.0 or less on the Richter Scale.
