Marshall County Special Olympics Track & Field team attended the Kentucky Special Olympics Summer Games 2015 June 5th-7th, at EKU
Richmond campus with 14 athletes in participating.
They came home with  numerous medals and ribbons.

Many of our athletes were moved to a higher  bracket at Summer Games due to their improved times at Regionals.  Several of these athletes went on to beat their personal best times at  Summer Games.

This year Marshall County had 2 Pentathletes competing.  Christian Andresen came home with a Gold medal in the M01 Pentathlon  division for the 2nd year. Tommy Hunt-Kemp came home with a Silver medal  in the M02 Pentathlon division.

Also on June 22nd, we held our annual  Awards Banquet. Athletes were all presented with awards for their  participation in their different sports.
We also recognized our Athletes  of the Year, Harli Hanisch and Xander Wolff.Special Olympics 3
