Are you a comfortable Christian?

Are you comfortable with where you are in your Christianity? Do you feel like you’ve done enough and aren’t concerned with learning more? Do you hang around with folks who believe exactly like you do? Being comfortable isn’t always a good thing. Christianity isn’t a place to be comfortable. God seekers usually find themselves building arks, facing giants and jumping out of boats. Today’s the day to get out of your comfort zone and bring others to Jesus! What’s stopping you?

Are you a challenging Christian?

Are you hard to get along with? Do you complain about the preacher, the elders, the mission work, the youth, the pews, the Bible class? Do people cringe when they see you coming or hear your voice on the phone? Are you bitter or hard to get along with? If so, you’re doing it wrong.

Are you a casual Christian?

Are you only a Christian on Sundays and some Wednesdays? Do you curse, cheat, gossip and lie between services? Are you always aware of whom you belong to and how you can bring others to Him or are you sometimes worried that someone will find out that you’re a Christian? Would you’re friends and co-workers know that you’re a follower of God? Isn’t it time you re-prioritized your life? Do it today.

Are you a compassionate Christian?

How much time do you spend caring for others? What could you do today to show that you’re a compassionate Christian? Maybe you could send a card, visit someone in the hospital or offer to sit with a single parent’s kids so they could get out. There are many things you could do that may not only help another Christian but maybe influence someone who hasn’t accepted Christ yet.

Are you a concerned Christian?

Are you concerned about the welfare of the church? Do you strive to encourage others? Do you take time to get to know and support the youth realizing that they are the future of the church? Do you encourage the minister and his family? Do you support the missionaries? Do you study to show yourself approved? Are you concerned about, not only your eternity but the eternity of others?

Are you a Christ-Like Christian?

Do you daily strive to be more like Jesus? Are you so concerned with the souls of others that you’re life mission is to bring others to Christ and glory to God? Does love permeate your day? Do people know without a doubt that you’re a Christian and that you sincerely love them? When people leave your presence are they better, the same, or worse?

Isn’t it time we seek Christ so that we that can be a complete Christian?

Today’s the day to be the Christian you want to be. It’s up to you to take advantage of it.
