LEXINGTON – North Marshall Middle School defeated reigning state champions North Pulaski 39-23 to clinch the 2015 King of the Bluegrass Invitational Tournament.
The tournament was held in Lexington at the KBA and hosted 13 of the top teams in the state.
On their way to the championship, North Marshall defeated Lexington Catholic 42-29, Bate Middle 48-27, Clay County 49-36, & Eastside Middle 41-38.
North Marshall’s Tyler Stokes was named tournament MVP.
