
Mrs. Mary Sue Breckenridge Perkins, age 92, of Mayfield passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at The Bungalows of Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mayfield and a retired dental hygienist from Dr. Frank Richardson’s Dental Office. Miss Sue, as she was known to many, was a beloved and devoted aunt, friend, neighbor, and church member. She lived her life to the fullest and loved to joke around and laugh. Chocolate was everything! To know Sue was to love her and her red hair.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by four nieces, Jenny (John) Bledsoe of Memphis, TN, Betsy (Wayne) Fresen of Chicago, IL, Sue Williams of Jacksonville, FL and Nancy (Ronnie) Tate of Mayfield, KY and two nephews, Stan (Penny) Cook of Taylor Mill, KY and Tommy (Marilyn) Perkins of Mayfield, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Perkins; three sisters, Betty Cook, Clara Smith and Virginia Ann Williams; two nieces, Patty Sheridan and Sally Williams; and her parents, Adair and Mable Wolfe) Breckenridge.
Private graveside services for Mrs. Mary Sue Breckenridge will be held at Highland Park Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Many special thanks to the members of First United Methodist Church for your fellowship, caring and love for Sue. Also thank you to the staff of The Bungalows of Mayfield. Sue couldn’t have asked for a better home and care these past few years.
