Kathleen L. Myers, 93, of Benton, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Marshall County Hospital.
Kathleen was born in Waynesboro, Tennessee on January 3, 1929 to the late Carl and Ruth Alexander. She worked as a nurse’s aid at Calvert City Convalescent Center and Marshall County Hospital. Kathleen also worked at Florsheim Shoe Factory and Claussner Hosiery Company. She enjoyed spending time fishing on the lake and going on a picnic. Above all, she loved her grandkids and church. Kathleen was a member of Briensburg church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Beasley and husband, Henry of Fairdealing; two granddaughters, Laura Beasley Henson (James) and Melissa Bales; five great-grandchildren, Makenzie Coleman-Lewis, Trace Coleman-Lewis, William Coleman-Lewis, Brianna Vincent and Riley D. Henson; eight nieces, Tammy Flippen, Angie Smith, Anne Bing, Carla Roach Boyd, Tonya White, Lisa Jackson Burnham, Kathy Jackson; six nephews, David Hicks, Jerry Don Hicks, Danny Wayne Jackson, Kevin Alexander, Brian Alexander and Stephen Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas D. Anderson and William “Bill” Myers; daughter, Glenda Gale Bales; her parents; four sisters, Bertha Nell Alexander McDonald, Peggy Ann Alexander Jackson, twins, Emogene Alexander Howell and Willadean Alexander Hicks; two brothers, Brice Alexaner and Glenn E. Alexander; one niece, Kelly Renee Alexander; three nephews, Dennis Alexander, Michael Alexander and Wendell Alexander; and grandson, Joshua Coleman.
A funeral service for Kathleen will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Filbeck & Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Gary Knuckles officiating. Burial will follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Filbeck & Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
