Mary Edith Travis, age 86, of Clarkton, MO formerly of Mayfield, KY passed away Tuesday February 1, 2022 at the Gideon Care Center in Gideon, MO.
She was a homemaker and attended Bethel Assembly of God in Gideon, MO.
Mary is survived by one son, Terry (Marilyn) Travis of Mayfield, KY; three daughters, Deborah (William) Coles of Pottsville, KY, Kimberly (Jerry) House of Clarkton, MO and Jodi (David) Gargus of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Larry (Sandy) Felton of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Karen Davis and Sharon Felton both of St. Marys, WV; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Travis; two brothers, Sonny Felton and William Felton; parents, Howard C. and Genevie Mitchell Felton.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00pm Wednesday February 9, 2022 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Keith Allred will officiate. Interment will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield, KY. Brandon Travis, Elyjah Travis, Austin Wilson, Shawn Wilson, Stephen Coles, and Jackson Coles will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday February 8, 2022 at the funeral home.
