Mr. Jerome “Mickey” Culp, 80

Mr. Jerome “Mickey” Culp, age 80 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at his home. He was retired from Briggs and Stratton and SKW Alloys. Mr. Culp was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed collecting and repairing antique radios.

Born Monday, October 20, 1941 in Highland Park, Michigan, he was the son of the late Harlan Culp and the late Thelma (Washburn) Culp.

Surviving are his wife, Emma (Morris) Culp; step-sons, Richard Johnson and Joseph Johnson, both of Calvert City, KY; sister, Elainia Brewer of Henderson, TX; granddaughters, Courtney Perez and Cassandra Culp; step-grandchildren, Nathan Johnson and Samantha Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Javier Valdez, Katya Valdez, Eric Valdez, Gwenavyre Holland, Rosavyne Holland, and Stryker Holland.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Culp was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Culp and a brother, Phillip Culp.

A memorial service will be conducted 4:30 p.m. Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church, 6026 U. S. Highway 641, Gilbertsville, KY with Bro. Tommy Miles officiating.

Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, KY is serving the Culp family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Missions Program of Calvary Baptist Church.
