Mr. Randall “Randy” Darnell, age 59, of Mayfield passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
He was a member of Spence Chapel United Methodist Church and an employee of Pilgrim’s Pride.
Mr. Darnell is survived by his wife, Melinda Brown Darnell; his parents, Howard & Rita Darnell of Mayfield, KY; his mother, Betty Kay Norman of Mayfield, KY; one son, Shane (Paige) Darnell of Mayfield, KY; one step-son, Jessie Hailey of Eddyville, KY; two daughters, Samantha (Jason) Duke of Mayfield, KY and Amber Darnell of Hickory, KY; one step-daughter, Jamie Hailey of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Debbie (Jerry) O’Conner and Missy Darnell both of Mayfield, KY; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David Darnell and his second wife, Sandy Darnell.
Funeral services for Mr. Randall “Randy” Darnell will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Jason Duke will officiate. Interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be Clay Holland, Johnny Guthrie, Vance Anderson, Ronnie Sanderson, James Lynch and Jerry O’Conner. Honorary pallbearers will be Easton Darnell, Gunner Pinkleton, Bryson Mullins, Jackson Lynch, Daniel Walker and James Campbell.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the funeral home.
