
Tom was born in Mayfield, KY on February 4, 1949 to the late James and Irene Hobbs. Before retiring, he worked as a supervisor for Wauconda Tool and Engineering. In his spare time, he enjoyed going fishing and hunting.He loved to watch the Chicago Bears play football but more than anything else he loved playing around with all of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Hobbs; three daughters, Denise Beckwith, Vicky Roberts, and Jennifer Watson; six sisters, Mary Ruth Dossett, Wanda Painter, Joann Toon, Veronica Wilson, Elaine Seay, and Belinda Nanny; two brothers, Bobby Hobbs and Gary Hobbs; several grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas “Eddie” Hobbs; two brothers, Frances Hobbs and Russell Hobbs; one grandson, John Thomas Hobbs; and his parents.
