Karen Denice Griffin,64, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tennessee.

Karen was born on October 16, 1957 to the late George William Griffin and Norine Lewis.  She was a member of Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church.  Karen loved to watch TV, and her favorite show was “Days of our Lives”.  She will be most remembered for how she loved to make people laugh.

Karen is survived by her three sisters, Wilma Simmons, Toni Griffin, and Lawanda Griffin all of Columbus; and one brother, Reginald Farmer of Erie, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, James Curtis Griffin.

A funeral service will be held at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 14, 2022 with Bro. Derrick Fitts and Bro. Tony Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at the Columbus Cemetery.  Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the church.
