Dixie Bristoe, 72, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah, Kentucky.
Ms. Bristoe was born in Henderson, Ky. on July 29, 1949 to O.E. and Ella Grace Dixon. She was an avid dog lover and even had seven at one time. She was a loving grandma and a talented crafter. Some would say that she could decorate and make anything. She was employed at Harrah’s Metropolis Hotel & Casino.
Ms. Bristoe is survived by her life-long partner: William “Bill” Dennison; two daughters: Jennifer (David) Rye of Hopkinsville and Lisa Lang of Symsonia; four grandchildren: Mason Rye, Victoria Riggs, Michael Thomas, and Devin Davis; six great grandchildren: Gavin Thomas, Aubrie Lee, Hunter Lee, Gabe Powers, Able Davis, and one on the way Octavia; two brothers: Dennis (Kerri) Dixon of Louisville and Owen (Donna) Dixon of Seneca, South Carolina.
Ms. Bristoe is preceded in death by both of her parents.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
