Mr. John Dewey Allen, age 90, of Mayfield, KY passed away November 26, 2021 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
He was retired from the National Labors Union and a Marine Korean War Veteran. Mr. Allen was also of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by one granddaughter, Brandi Zea (Jeremy) Taylor of Mayfield, KY and one great-grandson, John Allen Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Sullivan Allen; one daughter, Debbie Zea; one sister, Mary Jean Sanderson; and his parents, John and Imogene Hargrove Allen.
A visitation is scheduled from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday November 30, 2021 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. A private burial will follow the visitation in the North Mt. Zion Cemetery.
