Eva was born on November 15, 1947 in Aurora to the late Emet and Melodine Greer Henson. She was of the Holiness Faith. Eva loved University of Kentucky basketball and dogs, especially her little yorkies and chihuahuas. She was a loving mother and grandmother and dedicated her life to her children.
Eva is survived by her daughter, Christy Moots (Trish) of Princeton; her son, Jimmy Dale Phelps of Princeton; three sisters, Virginia Henson of Princeton, Wanda Case of Calvert City, and Norma Henson of Hendersonville, TN; her brother, Thomas Lee Henson of Springfield, TN; eight grandchildren, James Alfred, Melanie Smelling, Heather Alfred, Kirah Gusman, Dakota Hyde, Serena Catheart, Randall Phelps, and Baylee Phelps; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Phelps; her daughter, Kimberly Snow; two sons, Willy Lee Phelps and James Casey Phelps; one sister, Mary Baize; and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
A funeral service will take place Monday, November 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Sister Lexia McKnight – Evitts and Bro. Daniel Orten officiating. Burial will take place at Union Ridge Cemetery.
