Meteorologist Beau Dodson joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. This is Severe Weather Preparedness Week, which Dodson says at this time of year can catch people off guard. But he says the threat of severe weather and tornadoes is still present. Dodson says one of the main things is to have a severe weather plan so everyone in your family knows what to do in case of severe weather. He says it’s important to have multiple sources of information to get your severe weather alerts from, because often times some of those sources can go down due to power outages and other reasons.
