Melvin Monroe Sanderson III, age 68, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on August 25, 2021 at his residence.
Melvin was born on August 5, 1953 in Cahokia, Indiana to the late Melvin Monroe Sanderson II and Leida Bernice Sanderson. He worked as a respiratory therapist assistant at both Baptist Health Paducah and Marshall County Hospital. He liked to spend time on the computer and with his cat, Precious. Melvin was a funny man who brought laughter to those around him.
He is survived by his daughter, Katey Joyce (Joshua) of Benton, Kentucky; his sister, Mary Faith Sides; and his significant other, Angel Mitchell.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
