Mr. Thomas Rendek, 57, of Murray, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his home.
Tom was born on September 25, 1963 to the late John and Shirley Drinkard Rendek. He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Lenexa, KS. Tom was an avid foodie and loved to cook for his family. He had a passion for music and playing guitar. Tom retired from Murray Independent School District in 2019 as Director of Pupil Personnel.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kara Rendek of Murray; daughter, Alixandria Orrick and husband AJ of Overland Park, KS; step daughters, Ashly Thompson and husband Ryan of Murray, Cydney Clere of Murray; brother, Steve Rendek and wife Jennifer of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren, Isabella, Emma, Carson, Cameron, Hannah, Henlee, Oaklin, as well as three nieces, Sophia, Gabriella and Tatiana.
A visitation honoring the life of Tom Rendek will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 5 PM – 7 PM at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray.
