Charlie Crider, age 66, of Benton, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center.
Charlie was born on October 14, 1954 in Mayfield, KY to the late Charles Eugene Crider Sr. and Bonnie Bright Crider. He served in the United States Army and later went on to work in production at General Tire where he retired. Charlie loved spending as much time as he could outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with all of his family and friends at the campground, and out on the lake. He loved goofing off and cutting up with the people he was around but will also be remembered for always having a fearless and adventurous personality. His overall love for life and people was apparent in everything that he did. Charlie also had a love for puppies, but more than anything else he loved all of his family and friends dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda Crider of Benton, KY; his daughter, Kimberly Crider McAdoo (Doug) of Hickory, KY; his two sons, Chris Crider of Mayfield, KY and Brian Crider (Jana) of Benton, KY; one sister, Paula Crider of Calvert City, KY; one brother, Joel Crider (Jamie) of Melber, KY; six grandchildren, Lakin Baumgardner, Makayla Stacy, Cody Crider, Trey Crider, Davis Crider, and Charlee Crider; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Klapp; and his parents.
Arrangements are being handled by Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
No services are scheduled at this time for Charlie.
