Mrs. Dorothy Driver, age 89 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY. She was a homemaker and member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
Born Saturday, December 19, 1931 in Marshall County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Edmon and Lala (Nimmo) Henson.
Surviving are sons, Timmy Driver, wife Donna of Benton, KY, Ricky Driver, wife Vickie of Benton, KY and Ronald Driver, wife Kathi of Benton, KY, daughter, Brenda Turner of St. Peters, MO, grandchildren, Kristi Raleigh, Roni Harrison, Kevin Driver, Philip Driver, Adam Driver, Emily Hill, Ben Turner, Jennifer Chapman, Melanie Pennington, Heather Donegan, Elizabeth McCallum, Dylan Driver, Paige Edmonds, 37 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, brothers, Paul Wayne Henson, wife Jean of Benton, KY, and Donnie Henson, wife Pat of Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 25 years, Charles Driver, brothers, Lawrence Henson, Wilburn Henson, Jim Henson, sisters, Eunice Estes Woods and Nola Estes, and son-in-law, David Turner.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating.
Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
