Mr. Burton Strong, age 78, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Mills Health & Rehab in Mayfield, KY.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the retired owner and operator of Burton’s Barber Shop.
Mr. Strong is survived by one daughter, Angela Dawn (John) Watkins of Mayfield, KY and three grandchildren, Bradley Ford, Kaylie Strong and Adrianna Strong all of Mayfield, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Tisdale Strong; one brother, James Dalton Strong; his father, James Houston Strong; and his mother, Ora Margaret Carr Bruce.
Graveside services for Mr. Burton Strong will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Stephen Boyken will officiate. Interment will follow.
Visitation will be 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
