Mr. Glen D. McCallon, age 80 of Benton, KY died on Monday, June 14, 2021, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY. He was a retired tire builder for General Tire and Rubber and was a member of the United Rubber Workers. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Surviving are his wife, Judith “Judy” (Clark) McCallon of Benton, KY, step-daughter, Shanrah Evans of Benton, KY, brothers, Joe Pat McCallon, wife Diane of Paducah, KY, Wade McCallon, wife Dee of Cartersville, GA, Jerry McCallon, wife Rita of Rotanda, FL, Andy McCallon, wife Louise of FL and Don McCallon of Bowling Green, KY, sister-in-law, Anita McCallon of Lynn Grove, KY, step-grandchildren, Austin Jackson, wife Tori of Benton, KY, Kaitlan Jackson of Benton, KY, and step-great-grandchildren, Jayce Morgan and Creed Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie James McCallon and Nadine Eldora (Tutt) McCallon, brother, Clifton McCallon, and step-great grandchild, Peyton Ruff.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. David Garrett officiating.
Interment will follow in the Maple Springs Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Collier Funeral Home.
