Edna Ruth Futrell, age 87, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah.
She was a member of Gilbertsville Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Ruth Futrell is survived by a sister, Nell Haynes of Lebanon, Tennessee; two nieces, Martha Butler of Bethpage, Tennessee and Pat Dill of Ohio; son-in-law, Rick Johnston of Benton, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Shawn Bebout of Smithland, Crystal Baker of Gilbertsville, and Andrew Johnston of Benton; five great-grandchildren, Hunter Bebout of Gilbertsville, Brittany Brewer of Mayfield, Desiree Reynolds of Calvert City, Mattie Bebout of Gilbertsville and Colden Baker; six great-great-grandchildren, Eli Bebout, James Brewer, Collin Brewer, Clay Brewer, Everly Ann Reynolds and Ellie Bebout.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Kenneth Futrell; her parents, Elmer and Maggie Todd Vaught; two daughters, Elaine Bebout and Teresa Johnston; a granddaughter, Misty Reynolds, two sisters and one brother.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Provine Cemetery with Jimmy Cash officiating.
Visitation for Edna Ruth Futrell will be held from 12:30 pm -1:30 pm Sunday at Filbeck- Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
