Germaine Wilkins, 77, of Calvert City, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Oakview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Ms. Wilkins was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
Ms. Wilkins is survived by three sons, Steve Wilkins and wife, Theresa of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Scott Wilkins of Tyrone, Pennsylvania and Michael Wilkins and wife, Marcy of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Ben Wilkins, Allonia Wilkins, Angela Wilkins, Christopher Wilkins, Bailey Wilkins and Riley Wilkins; two sisters, Catherine Rush of Metropolis, Illinois and Jeanine Wehrmeyer of Metropolis, Illinois; three brothers, Fritz L. Metzger of Paducah, William Frank Metzger of Paducah and John Albert Metzger of Benton, Illinois; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Matilda ‘Tillie’ Talmage; two brothers, Lewis Paul ‘Pete’ Metzger and Joe Harry Metzger. Her parents were Harry and Germaine Block Metzger.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Bruce McCarty officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
