Keith Travis representing the West Kentucky Community Foundation, along with Marshall County Sheriff Eddie McGuire joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. A couple of fund raisers, including the 1st Annual Fox Trot 5K/10K virtual run, helped to raise more than $22,000 that will be used to purchase two new K-9 dogs for the sheriff’s office. The current K-9, Fox, is twelve years old and will be retiring. Travis said a large number of people donated and helped make the virtual run fundraiser successful. A check presentation to the sheriff’s office will be made at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 24.
