Jennifer Brown with the Marshall County Health Department was our guest recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call. She said she understands the frustration with people in the community concerning the limited amount of COVID-19 vaccine that has been available. She said the health department is doing everything they can to get more vaccine, but right now there are no doses available for first time recipients. Brown says the shortage problem is a common problem throughout the Purchase Region, the state and the entire country. She says they are not currently taking names to get on a list, because they have already have a list with over 3,000 names. She asks that Marshall County residents to please be patient while this vaccination process continues.
