Richard “Rick” Carlson, 69 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY.
Born Monday, May 28, 1951 in Saint Charles, IL, he was the son of the late Charles Carlson and the late June Elizabeth (Benson) Carlson.
Rick owned Baits & Bullets in Aurora, KY and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid fisher and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Carlson of Benton, KY; sons, Derek Carlson wife Alicia of Lewisburg, KY, Tim Carlson wife Ashley of Louisville, KY; brothers, Chuck Carlson of Oswego, IL, Jerry Carlson of West Chester, OH; and grandchildren, Conner Carlson, Remington Carlson, Rowan Carlson and Levi Carlson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
