Charline Star McWherter, age 68, formerly of Murray, Kentucky died Friday, December 11, 2020 in Texas.
Star was born on November 22, 1952 in Highland Park, Michigan. Star loved being a pastor’s wife, a mom, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. She LOVED taking care of her family and was so good at it. Her pretty smile and beautiful personality endeared her to every person she came across. She made it her life’s ministry to care for others. If you visited her church, you would get an introduction from Star, and if you missed a service, you were sure to get a call wondering where you were and letting you know how much she missed you. She was so dearly loved by those that knew her. She never met a stranger, and simply loved people.
Star is survived in death by her devoted husband of 50 years, Paul E. McWherter; two sons, Shea McWherter and fiancé Rachel Pence, and Sean McWherter; 4 grandchildren, Morgan, Olivia, Victoria, and Ashton; and one great granddaughter, Laney Jo.
