Mr. Maury Edwin “Pete” Frazier, 81, Gilbertsville, died Friday, August 14th at his residence.Mr. Frazier was a native of McCool, Mississippi, and the retired owner of Pete’s Riding Stables at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park. He was one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Jones) Frazier; one son, Timothy Frazier, Gilbertsville; three daughters, Beth Bonnell, Barbie (Robert) Tillson, and Robyn (Chad) Henderson all of Gilbertsville; one brother, Dub Frazier of Gilbertsville; one sister Mary Henley of Brookport, Illinois; seven grandsons, Daniel Bonnell, Lucal Bonnell, Adam Bonnell, Dustin Tillson, Clint King, Ezra Darnell, and Sylas Darnell; two great-grandchildren, Levi Bonnell and Nahla Tillson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bonnie Cook Frazier; one brother, Clarence Frazier, and one sister, Polly Jones.
Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 17th at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street in Benton. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
