Mr. George D. Stovall, age 79 of Mayfield, KY passed away Saturday July 11, 2020 at the Mayfield Nursing and Rehab in Mayfield, KY
He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and retired from Stark’s Brothers Mobile Homes.
Mr. Stovall is survived by his wife of 59 years, Norma Champion Stovall; two sons, David Stovall of Mayfield, KY and Dennis Stovall of Los Angeles, CA; one sister, Lois Elaine Lewis of Union City, TN.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Stovall; one sister, Elizabeth Murphy; and his parents Emmett and Annie Stovall.
A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00pm Monday July 13, 2020 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Dr. Mike Baker will officiate. Interment will follow in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. Ed Burge, Shelby Glisson, Jimmy Shelton, Jordan Burge, Chuck Flowers, and Steve Mason will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Sunday July 12, 2020 at the funeral home.
