MURRAY – The semi-annual Kentucky Kids Consignment Sale is back in Murray this weekend with three days to shop for deals.
The CFSB Center at Murray State University will be transformed into a shopper’s dream come true. The sale uses the upper level of the facility and is projected to have 40,000+ items ready and waiting for shoppers. All the clothes are organized by size from preemie through juniors and maternity, shoes, strollers, toys for children of all ages, nursery items, bedding, bath, video games, books and more.
With a very organized flow, the event uses computers to scan barcode tags to quickly check-out shoppers. Tallies of items sold are provided to sellers each evening via online reports.
Started in 2004 by Jennifer and Paul Upton, Kentucky Kids Consignment Sales has multiple events each year in Murray, providing locals the opportunity to consign and earn a higher return on their items sold than at a yard or garage sale. The event features popular brands at a fraction of retail prices such as Gymboree, Matilda Jane, Carter’s, RUUM, Baby Jogger, Kissy Kissy, Hanna Andersson, Petunia Picklebottom, Miss Me, Mini Boden, Tea Collection, Joovy, Keen, Lego, Gap, Ralph Lauren, Under Armour, The North Face, Stride Rite, Melissa & Doug, Peg Perego, Graco, Maclaren, Fisher Price, Pottery Barn Kids and more.
The event is open to the public with the following schedule: Thursday, August 20 and Friday, August 21, 9:00am-8:00pm and Saturday, August 21, 9:00am-4:00pm. Customers may pay with Visa, Mastercard and cash.
There is no admission to attend the sale with the exception of the VIP Pre-Sale, prior to the event opening to the public. The VIP Pre-Sale will take place Wednesday, August 29, 2015 from 7-9 pm for ticket holders to shop before the general public. Tickets can be purchased, while supplies last, for $12.50 at kentuckykidssale.com with $5 from each VIP sale donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Because of construction at Murray State University, shoppers will need to enter from Highway 641 instead of Highway 121 and drive around the football stadium to enter the CFSB Center via Entrance B.
