Tori Ford signed on Wednesday at Marshall County High School to continue to run track and play soccer for Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn. Ford is a five-year member of the track and field program and an integral part of the Lady Marshals success in running events over the course of those five seasons.
Ford is a 400-meter specialist, but has been a part of three out of four relays at different times in her career, most significantly anchoring the state medal-winning 4 x 400 team the past two seasons. She is one of the best and most consistent performers for the Lady Marshals over the past four years and exhibits an extraordinary work ethic in all aspects of being a student athlete.
A vital part of the Lady Marshals soccer team, Ford has been a key member of the team’s three straight regional championships. Her athleticism and fitness level allowed her to cover more ground than any other player on the field.
Ford was joined at her signing by members of her family, coaches, soccer and track team members, friends and church members.
