Mr. Dennis Cochrum, 65 of Benton, KY died on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Erlanger Bledsoe Hospital, Pikeville, TN. He was a truck driver for Benny Lyell Trucking. He also worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Union City, TN and Jim Smith Contracting. He was an avid fisherman and was a member of First Baptist Church, Benton, KY.Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Judy (Lamb) Cochrum of Benton, KY, parents, Milton Edward and June (Bazzell) Cochrum of Mayfield, KY, sons, Jeff Schmidt, wife Michelle of Benton, KY and Joey Schmidt, wife Nicole of Hickory, KY, brother, Alan Cochrum of Versailles, KY, and grandchildren, Jayden Schmidt, Brady Schmidt, and Molley Simmons.
A Memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY42025 with Matt Carter officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
