Claude Herbert Green, 88 of Calvert City, KY died on Friday, August 23, 2019, at his residence. He was the owner of Greens Tire Service and also worked for CCMA in Calvert.
Born Monday, June 8, 1931 in Cadiz, KY, he was the son of the late James Green and the late Ethel Mae (Cooper) Green.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Kay (Walker) Green of Calvert City, KY; son, Gabriel Green of Calvert City, KY; daughter, Shelia (Green) Presley of Grand Rivers, KY; sister, Elsie Mae Neal of Hardy, AR; grandchildren, Robyn (Green) Laffoon husband Arron, Whitney (Green) Fickart husband Robert; and five great grandchildren, Gabriela, Gabriel, Laya, Grayson, Carter and another expected in April.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 6 brothers.
A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with the Rev. Jimmy Eaves officiating.
Interment will be in Calvert City Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service time of 3:00 PM on Monday, August 26, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home.
