James Lee Ford, age 85 of Benton, passed away April 19, 2019 at Marshall County Hospital.
James and his wife Ruthie owned and operated the Ford Fruit Stand in Benton, KY. He was a member of Oak Valley Church of Christ and a member of the NRA. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthie York Ford; one sister, Mable Ann Ford and one nephew, Floyd Tatum. His parents J.D. Ford and wife Kate Coursey Ford.
Funeral services for James Lee Ford will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with David Hendrickson officiating and burial in Hartsfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr. Friends may call from 5:00PM-8:00PM.
