Russell Hord, 69 of Gilbertsville, KY died on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Marshall County Hospital.Born June 26, 1949 in Indiana, he was the son of the late Edgar and Mildred (Powell) Hord. He was a cabinet builder and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Howard) Hord of Gilbertsville, KY; daughters, LeeAnn Linsin husband Josh of Benton, KY, Samantha Marsh husband Logan of Benton, KY; and six grandchildren, Tegan, Tanner, Grayson, Addi, Benson and Kaylan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, AdriAnne Hord; and three brothers, Gary Hord, Phil Hord and Mike Hord.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 with the Rev. Daniel Hopkins officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home.
