Martha Lin Sanders, 75 of Benton, Kentucky passed away at 5:05pm Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Life Care Center of LaCenter.
Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Sharpe Church of Christ and she worked as a tow boat cook for Teco Barge Line.
She is survived by her two brothers, Buddy Halsell and wife Deloris of Paragould, AR; and Tremayne Halsell and wife Ann of Tulsa, OK; nephew, Dale Mason of Mayfield, KY; two nieces, Kelly Bruce and husband Kyle and their two children of Tulsa, OK and Kim Corbino and husband Joe of Tulsa, OK;great niece, Jennifer Mason of Kevil, KY; great nephew, Jake Mason and wife Tina of LaCenter, KY; and great great niece Amelia Mason of LaCenter, KY.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bill Sanders; her mother, Dathol Callender Halsell and her sister, Wanda Mason.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Marshall County Memory Gardens. Gary Knuckles will officiate. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers Martha’s family has suggested that donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
