Marshall County cross country hosted the 3200 meter Mad Marshal Dash Thursday, a fun event that splits the field in two different directions, they cross paths halfway through the race then combine to finish the race. Both the girl’s and boy’s teams took the win. Graves County took second and McCracken County third in both races.
Crossing in first in the girl’s race was Autumn Knight from McCracken County, stopping the clock in 13:07.88 and in the boy’s race, Cole Parker from McCracken County took first in 10:52.21. Top Marshall County finishers were Gabbi Lovett in third in 13:20.99 and Mason Cosner second with a time of 11:06.67.
The team will be in competition again on Saturday in Owensboro at the Fast Cats at Yellowcreek Park.

In middle school results, the Marshall County girls took fourth and the boys third. Graves County won the girl’s side and McCracken County took first in the middle school boys race. Marshall County’s Ethan McCarty took the win in the boy’s race in 10:54.90.
