On August 4th, Deputy Chris Greenfield observed a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop on West 5th Street. As a result of the ensuing investigation the driver, Robert Scott Garland of Dexter was arrested and served a warrant for Theft By Unlawful Taking or Disposition Shoplifting U$500 and was cited for the original traffic charges of No Registration Plates, No Registration Plates, Failure to or Improper Signal, and Disregard or Failure to Yield Right of Way.
On August 3rd, Deputy Steven Oakley, Sheriff Kevin Byars, and several other Deputies responded to a disturbance with shots fired on Tubbs Road. After the ensuing investigation a warrant was issued by the Marshall District Court for the arrest of Tommy L. Vick. Later the same date, Deputy Chris Greenfield, Deputy Cory Curtner, and Deputy Nick Spears responded to Tubbs Road to serve the warrant. While Deputies were on the scene, they observed Vick go by. They conducted a traffic stop and Vick was arrested and charged with Driving on DUI Suspended License and DUI 2nd Offense. They also served the warrant for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
On August 3rd, Deputy JT Coleman served a complaint warrant on Zach Burton of Calvert City, charging him with Criminal Trespass 1st Degree. The warrant was issued on a Benton PD case.
On August 4th, Deputy Chris Greenfield served a complaint warrant on Chelsea Doughty of Hardin. The warrant was issued on charges of Theft By Unlawful Taking or Disposition Shoplifting U$500.
On August 4th, Deputy Luke Rudd and Deputy Chris Greenfield were dispatched to a store in Hardin in reference to a man asking people for money and appearing to be under the influence. When Deputies arrived, it was reported that there were two small children in the vehicle. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the man identified as Shannon J. Clark of Benton on charges of Public Intoxication – Controlled Substance Excluding Alcohol, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Failure to Use Child Restraint Device, No Operators License, and Carrying A Concealed Weapon. Amber Fralix of Hardin responded to pick up the kids but was arrested herself on warrants

On August 5th, Deputy Chris Greenfield served an arrest warrant from Calloway County on Joseph Leon Davis of Murray.
On August 5th, Deputy Chris Greenfield was driving north on US 641. Deputy Greenfield observed a vehicle driving recklessly and conducted a traffic stop. As a result of the investigation, Joseph Leon Davis of Murray was arrested and charged with the following: DUI Second Offense, Driving on DUI Suspended Operators License 2nd Offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense ( Methamphetamine ), Drug Paraphernalia Buy / Possess, He was also served an arrest warrant as observed in the earlier post.
