Mr. Dewey E. Yates, age 89, of Murray, Kentucky died at 8:40pm Sunday, June 24, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Yates was born July 19, 1928 in Cuba, Kentucky to the late Dewey Yates and Arnest McCallister Yates. He was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ and retired from AT& T. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his sons, James Yates (Lisa), Murray, KY and Dewey Yates, Jr. (Tammy), Tiline, KY; two sisters, Jean, Fulton, KY and Betty, Austin, TX; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
