
Senior Night was celebrated Saturday during the Lady Marshals and Marshals home games against Henderson County and St. Mary. Chloe Kerrick is the only senior graduating from the girl’s program while five boys are playing their last season for the Marshals which are Lucas Nichols, Brady Morgan, Skyler Smith, Matt French and Aaron Reed.
Henderson County won 50-45 but not without a second half battle from the Lady Marshals who out-scored them 27-22 in the half after trailing 28-18 at halftime. The difference in the game came at the free throw line where Henderson made 11 trips hitting seven while the Lady Marshals were at the foul line just twice in the game, hitting one.
Kaytlan Kemp led the Lady Colonels with 17 points. The Lady Marshals were led by Tera Colson with 11 points.

A ten-point halftime lead grew into a 22 point lead at the end of the third quarter after the Marshals out-scored St. Mary 15-3 in the third on their way to a 57-34 win. Matt French led the Marshals with 14 points and six rebounds with 11 players scoring in the Senior Night win. St. Mary was led in scoring by Gage Mathis with 12 points.

The Marshals picked up their 15th win of the season Sunday afternoon 66-39 over Crittenden County. Leading 25-19 at halftime, the Marshals big 25-point third quarter put the game out of reach. Bryce Flatt led the Marshals with 14 points but Aaron Reed’s 10 point game earned him a spot in the Marshall County 1,000 point club, the 17th Marshal to achieve such a feat.
They will finish out the regular season with three games this week starting Tuesday at Mayfield, Thursday at home against Graves County and Friday in their Homecoming game against Cobden, IL. The game against Graves County starts at 6:00 and against Cobden at 6:30 following the crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King at 6:00.
