Mr. Roger Dale Birdsong, 67 of Gilbertsville, Kentucky died on Monday, October 16, 2017.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and the Marshall County Elks Lodge #2707.
Born Tuesday, October 10, 1950 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late William Mason Birdsong and the late Autumn (Trimble) Birdsong.
He is survived by one sister-in-law, Ann Birdsong of Benton, KY, one niece, Mitzi Donohoo, husband Edwin, two nephews, Terry Birdsong, wife Melissa and Rodney Henson, one great-nephew, Sawyer Donohoo, wife Stephanie, two great-nieces, Shelby Henderson, husband Dustin, Hastings Birdsong, and one great-great nephew, Parker Donohoo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sherry Faye (McWhorter) Birdsong, brothers, Gerald Wayne Birdsong and Donald Wayne Birdsong and great-nephew, Blaize Birdsong.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Edwards Cemetery with Edwin Donohoo, David Garrett and Terry Birdsong officiating.
Interment will follow.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W. 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
