UPDATED: Golden alert issued for Calloway County man

UPDATE: A missing Calloway County man has been located in Alabama.

Calloway County Sheriff’s Department reported that local authorities had found 81-year-old John Daniel Webb, of New Concord, near Montgomery, Ala. According to CCSD, additional details were not yet available, but Webb was being evaluated at an Alabama hospital.

Details will be released as they become available.

The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Golden Alert for John Daniel Webb, 81, of New Concord.

Mr Webb is a white male, about 6-foot-4 and 170 pounds; he has gray hair, gray eyes and regularly wears eye glasses. He was last seen wearing a red and black button up shirt, insulated blue jeans and brown shoes.

He is driving a tan 1998 Buick LeSabre, four-door with Kentucky Plate 009-DXY. He may be enroute to Nashville to see his wife in the hospital. He was last seen by his son at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Webb has medical issues and may be confused about his travels or his location.
