Mr. Roger Wilson, 56, of Benton, KY died on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at his
residence in Benton, KY.
Born Thursday, March 16, 1961, in Mayfield, KY, he was the son of the late Charles
Wilson and Linda Bennett Wilson of Paducah, KY. He was the husband of Sandra Davis
Wilson of Benton, KY.
He enjoyed quiet dinners out with his wife and friends, watching movies, quiet time
at home, and was an animal lover. He also enjoyed going on beach vacations, sitting
around the pool and sports but especially UK Basketball.
Surviving is his wife, Sandra Davis Wilson of Benton, KY; two sons, Roger David
Wilson and Rusty Wilson both of Fancy Farm, KY; daughter, Andrea Lane Jones and
husband Zack of Gilbertsville, KY; one brother, Greg Wilson and wife Mary of
Mayfield, KY; and one sister, Pam Anderson and her late husband Randy of Paducah, KY.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Davis Lane.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Collier Funeral
Home in Benton, KY with Kerry Lambert and Father Darrell Venters officiating.
Interment will be in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY.
