Mr. Alfred Eugene Duncan, 81, of Murray passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, at his home. He was a self-employed furniture maker and veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Ledbetter Baptist Church in Murray.
Born Sunday, January 26, 1936, in Calloway County, he was the son of the late Rufus Duncan and the late Lora Mae (Byers) Duncan.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Lou (Norman) Duncan of Murray; daughter, Veronica Jones, husband Jason of Aurora; brother, Loyd Duncan of Benton; sister, Lareva Elkins of Benton; grandchildren, Bo French, finance’ Arianna, Kaleb Jones, Cassie Collins and Allyn Richardson, wife Khrystal..
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lewis Duncan and David Alvy Duncan.
A Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Robert McKinney officiating.
Interment will follow in Palestine Cemetery in Dexter.
Visitation will be held between the hours of noon and 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home.
