A semi trapped in a ditch closed traffic to Highway 348 in Marshall County overnight.

According to a West Marshall Fire Department report, the road was closed from about midnight to 5 a.m. after a truck driver dropped off the right shoulder of the road. The driver reportedly overcorrected and then ran off the left shoulder, coming to rest in a large ditch.

West Marshall Fire crews provided traffic control and lighting support to the scene while wreckers worked to free the vehicle. Crews also cleared mud and debris, and monitored for fuel and oil leakage.
